Our Genesis

It all began in 1983 when it dawned on the founders of Mindsight (formerly began as Insight Management Consultants) that strategic and innovative inputs were largely considered effective for consumer goods businesses and not so sensitive to business of industrial goods. The industrial goods businesses were mainly concentrating on productivity improvement and cost reduction exercises and not so much on marketing directions, application engineering, business modelling, new product development, and expansion & business diversification.  This missing link prompted the formation of Insight Management Consultants (now known as Mindsight Consulting)

We set forth a clear direction to consulting. Prepare a compact innovative and creative organisation and stay within the realm of professional work and not to drift towards commercialisation. This meant in developing  a strong team of techno- management personnel, who have clear appreciation and experience of working of businesses relating to industrial products & services.   We then went about imbibing a strong culture in the team to use deep industry expertise and rigorous analysis, to help business leaders achieve practical results with real impact. We till date, due to this culture, are  uncompromising in our approach to helping clients consistently make better decisions, deliver improved business performance and create greater impact to their business..
